Abstract
A major goal of clinicai 1ransplant research has been prevention of graft loss to acute and/or chronic rejection. In the last decade the new generation of immunosuppresive drugs and associated patient care improvements have resulted in increased patient and graft survival. In the following article we will discuss recent aspects of immunosuppression in transplant patients.
