Abstract

The genetic variability of hepatitis C virus The hepatitic Virus G disposes of a very important genetical variability. This is partial responsable of the virus permanency and of the chronical stage of the infectious too, next to the immunological, therapeutical and vaccinal resistance of the virus. From the clinical, therapeutical and diagnostical point of view, the consecuences of the genetical variability of the virus are multiplies. The most important is, no doubt, the lower intensity of the genotype 1b response. The development of an effective vaccine remains the most difficult challenge. Because of the variability of HGV, protective vaccines could be very difficult to produce.
