Abstract

Chronic renal diseases are often accompanied by systemic hypertension, which, in turn, accelerates progression of renal dysfunction. The vast majority of actual guidelines recommend ACEI and/ or ARB as first choice of antihypertensive treatment. The study presented compares the evolution of 157 patients with chronic renal failure and renoparenchymatous hypertension treated with different antihypertensive regimens.
